MM: Lay It Down Slow

 I am fine. Internet connection is fine and I was not away on vacation.. But where was I?

Sitting in front of the television and eyes glued to an award-winning TV series that ended last year, Prison Break.  Yeah, I was hooked.  For days and nights, I have been watching the DVD forgetting my blogs and everything related to it. Just early this morn, I finished off the two remaining episodes and finally I am done with my obsession to the leading cast, Wentworth Miller. LOL.

However, this does not mean you will be seeing more of me or more updates on my blogs.  It's the contrary as today also marks the beginning of my first full time online job.  I have to focus or else I will lose this job.  Of course, I won't quit blogging. I will still pop here and there once in a while.

MM: Supermodel

I chatted with another high school classmate and you know what he said after he saw my Tagaytay photos? That I am now JUMBO!!! Oh, why have they become so tactless? Again, he took it back by saying "sexy but jumbo" but still I'm hurt by the word "jumbo".  I told him if he could just say large instead of jumbo. He won't.  Well, this just means I have to be really serious with my blockbuster diet.

I didn't eat yesterday,

I'm not gonna eat today,

I'm not gonna eat tomorrow,

Cuz I'm gonna be a supermodel.

I think that would be what I am going to do from now on.  My goal? Not exactly a supermodel. Just a normal weight so I could gain back my confidence. *sigh*.

Weekend Getaway: Tagaytay City

After a good night's sleep and with renewed energy, we are ready to face a day full of adventure.  For a start, we haven't been to Tagaytay City so it is a challenge for us on how to get there. We did a little research beforehand and agreed on what tourist spots we are going to visit so it is just a matter of asking for directions.

We never had to, though, since the moment we arrived at Tagaytay City, a tricycle met us and offered us a ride to People's Park in the Sky for PhP 120. I got excited the moment we arrived as the view was breathtaking so I asked Rhea to take pictures. But alas! I cannot find my digital camera.  I panicked thinking of the priceless moments captured by it on its memory card. Luckily, Rhea was there to calm me down and told me that we will look for it.  We thought that we left it on the tricycle that brought us there so we rode another tricycle to look for it.  Fortunately, along the way, I found a man picking up something on the side of the road that looks like my camera pouch. Imagine my relief when I realized that it really is my most treasured digital camera!

A Weekend Getaway

Friday, last week, I left for Manila to spend my weekend with Rhea, a very close friend.  After she fetched me at the airport we went directly to my cousin's apartment at Quezon City where he would supposedly make me my favorite dish, Kare-Kare.  Unfortunately, he wasn't able to because he woke up late and wasn’t able to buy the ingredients.

October 2010 Top Droppers

Pardon me for being such a lousy dropper last month.  I was hit by the lazy bug after I got my connection back and after I got sick for a couple of days.  Nonetheless, I am trying all my best to make it up this month and hoping I could see my blog's name again on your Top Droppers' list.
