I Love Brown

I hate to admit this but I really love Brown.  No, not the color.  Definitely not the color.  I mean Ken Brown. Now, does it ring a bell? Oh, yes, he is the man behind Adgitize.

Honestly, it took me some time before I actually earned in Adgitize because I was so silly I signed up immediately without even reading how the system works. So when I actually took the time to read and fully understand the concept,  my earnings began. Now, I am not just an active publisher but also a regular advertiser.

However, that is not only really the reason why I love Ken Brown. Another reason is because my site's traffic increased tremendously.  Also because I have contacted him a few times already and he never failed to respond immediately.  With increased traffic, bigger earnings and efficient customer support, Ken Brown and Adgitize are surely the best!

By the way, Adgitize is on phase 2 of its summer promotion which means guaranteed earnings for its publishers and advertiser until July 31.  You still have more than a month to see for yourself what I'm talking about. Don't wait any longer, sign up now by clicking the badge below.  See you!

Adgitize your web site.

Friday Fill-Ins #5

And...here we go!

1. On vacation, I like to spend it with my family in a place where we have never been before, abroad perhaps .
2. Once, I have dreamt of becoming a marine biologist because I wanted to discover the mystery and the life that lives in the ocean. Smiley
3. One of my favorite vacation spots is in my hometown, Cebu, because I could be with my family and friends.
4. I like to walk hand in hand with hubby in the beach under the full moon.
5. Up, up and away is where I want to be right now .
6. Bananas in pajamas stars B1 and B2. Smiley
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to chat with my sister in London Smiley, tomorrow my plans include lazing around the house the whole day and Sunday, I want to shop for an evening dress for the party!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Want Some Freebies?

The internet is not just one way for us to earn online, meet buddies, search information, communicate with friends or families, play games, watch movies or sell products. It is also one way for us to look for free stuff or freebies. Free games, free samples, free coupons, free domain. Name it. The list is endless and the amount of free stuff is just simply unlimited.

There are sites that compile the best free offers but you can also find free stuff outside of these compilation sites. Just be careful when scouring the internet for some free stuff. Do read the list as some items have shipping and handling charges or other hidden fees. Also, it is best to visit sites that sell your favorite products and see if the manufacturer is offering free samples, coupons redeemable for free products or rebate offers.

Indeed, some best things in life are really free! I have enjoyed most of them ever since I learned how to use the internet and I know I will be enjoying more as long as the internet continues to offer some more of it. Thanks, Internet!

Facebook Addict

No, not me! I can say I am not a Facebook addict but I think hubby is now addicted into it. You see, I was amazed at first when hubby opened a Facebook account. It's not that he's not an internet savvy; it's just that he's not into online social networking. Before, when he’s at home he would rarely open his laptop. Now, you can see us sitting side by side on the bed every night, me into blogging and he into Facebook. What astounded me more was when he asked about the poker game in Facebook! Smiley I just can’t imagine him playing a Facebook game as he is just not into it. He asked me how it is played but I wasn’t able to answer him since I haven’t played the said game. I told him though, that perhaps it is played just like how he did it in any online casinos. Hubby smiled then, and I can tell just by his look that he will definitely try playing the said poker game. I will not be surprised anymore if I see him playing Farmville or any other Facebook games. Smiley

How about you? Are you a Facebook addict, too? Smiley

I'm Craving For Adventure

I took this Blogthing quiz and I think it is somewhat right. I believe I am adventurous and I was craving for it ever since I tried my first "flight" with the Zip Line during our Bohol Tour. However, right this very moment, I am craving for real food Smiley. Anyway, try to take the quiz and see for yourself what you are craving for. I just hope it's not food, too. Smiley

You Crave Adventure

You don't need a lot to be happy, but the same old thing won't satisfy you.

You need to get your blood pumping and your heart racing from time to time. You life for adventure.

It's somewhat easy for you to get stuck in a rut, but luckily you are good at shaking things up!

You can find thrills in even the most boring situations. It's all about perspective.

MM: Dance With My Father

I admit, I was never really close with my father. In fact, I have wished a thousand times that I have another father. I would willingly trade him for someone more responsible and more loving. But I realized, I would never be who I am today if not for my father. I still wish I have a dance with my father even if we both have two left feet Smiley. Anyway, I dedicate this song to my father and to all fathers out there, loving or not. To my father: I do love you, Pa even if you're the most stubborn dad. Smiley

June Bride

June is fondly called as the most popular wedding month.  Aside from the fact that it is the arrival of warm weather and a  wider and cheaper array of colorful flowers are available during this month, it shows that reasons bring back to ancient times.

  • June is named after Juno, the Roman goddess of marriage. It is said that she would bring prosperity and happiness to all who wed in her month.
  • Long time ago, bathing was a once-a-year event that is observed during the last part of May or beginning of June.  Couples decided to tie the knot right after their  "annual bath" since each person was more presentable and less stinky.
  • Practicality-wise, if a woman is married in June, she would likely get pregnant during the Summer season and could still manually help with the year's harvest.  She would also likely give birth to her first child by Spring which could give her ample time to recover before the fall harvest.
If you are planning to be a "June Bride" and you want to have an excellent and memorable wedding day, you better start your wedding preparations as early as today. You may start by browsing over the large collection of wedding bands at 25karats.  You will find it easy to choose your perfect wedding band as each style has many pictures and different colors available. 25Karats also has different types of wedding bands ranging from diamond wedding bands, to celtic, to contemporary to antique. It would also be much better if you start looking for that perfect wedding dress. Happy Friday!

MM: Too Much Love Will Kill You

Remember my MM post about the 16 year old kid who joined Pilipinas Got Talent? If not, click here. Guess what? He garnered 44% of the total votes and won the Grand Prize of 2 million pesosesosesoses! Wow! That surely is a lot of money. Anyway, have a look at his winning performance last night. Congratulations to Jovit and Happy Music Monday to all.

Too Much Love Will Kill You

I'm just the pieces of the man I used to be
Too many bitter tears are raining down on me
I'm far away from home
And I've been facing this alone
For much too long
I feel like no-one ever told the truth to me
About growing up and what a struggle it would be
In my tangled state of mind
I've been looking back to find
Where I went wrong
Too much love will kill you
If you can't make up your mind
Torn between the lover
And the love you leave behind
You're headed for disaster
'cos you never read the signs
Too much love will kill you
Every time
I'm just the shadow of the man I used to be
And it seems like there's no way out of this for me
I used to bring you sunshine
Now all I ever do is bring you down
How would it be if you were standing in my shoes
Can't you see that it's impossible to choose
No there's no making sense of it
Every way I go I'm bound to lose
Too much love will kill you
Just as sure as none at all
It'll drain the power that's in you
Make you plead and scream and crawl
And the pain will make you crazy
You're the victim of your crime
Too much love will kill you
Every time
Too much love will kill you
It'll make your life a lie
Yes, too much love will kill you
And you won't understand why
You'd give your life, you'd sell your soul
But here it comes again
Too much love will kill you
In the end...
In the end.

Electric Highway

While I was at the salon, I have read an article in Discovery Channel Magazine about a study on electric highway, a road paved with solar panels that would give off plenty of cheap electricity.  Also, it could carry cable television, internet and telephone signals. If a person, animal or fallen tree were detected on the roadway, warnings will flash automatically. Smiley  At night, lane lights will automatically illuminate for safer driving and if you live in cold areas, roads would heat up to remove ice and snow. Wow.  It does sound amazing, right? It sounds impossible too but with our scientists' brilliant minds nothing seems impossible now. Expect our roads to be paved with solar panels in the near future and electric vehicles running on it. Hmmm. I'm just wondering. Do electric vehicles have air filters? Smiley

True Friend
by: Hannah Montana

We sign our cards
And letters BFF
You've got
A million ways
To make me laugh
You're looking out
For me
You've got my back
So good
To have you around
You know the secrets
I could never tell
And when I'm quiet you
Break through my shell
Don't feel the need
To do a rebel yell
Cuz you keep my feet
On the ground

You're a true friend
You're here till the end
You pull me aside
When somethin' ain't right
Talk with me now
And into the night
Till it's alright again
You're a true friend

You don't get angry
When I change the plans
Somehow you're never out
Of second chances
Won't say "I told you"
When I'm wrong again
I'm so lucky
That I found

A true friend
You're here till the end
You pull me aside
When somethin' ain't right
Talk with me now
And into the night
Till it's alright again

True friends will go
To the ends of the earth
Till they find
The things you need
Friends hang on
To the ups and the downs
Cuz they got someone
To believe in

A true friend
You're here 'til the end
You pull me aside
When somethin' ain't right
Talk with me now
And into the night,
No need to pretend
You're a true friend
You're here 'til the end
You pull me aside
When somethin' ain't right
Talk with me now
And into the night
'Til it's alright again

You're a true friend
You're a true friend
You're a true friend

I Look...

...drop dead gorgeous, fabulous, stunning, attractive.  In short, I simply feel beautiful.

I seldom pamper my hair. I only go to the salon once in a blue moon because I have this thick mane of hair and I can't afford regular treatment. But when I do, I splurge. So yesterday, I got the chance to pamper my hair and mind you, it was not cheap. Smiley

The product they use on my hair is L'Oreal X-tenso Moisturist, a breakthrough in hair straightening technology. With X-tenso Moisturist the hairstylist can offer you two amazing new services: Shine-bond Rebonding service & Shine-straight straightening service that give you perfect straight results, mirror-like shine and long-lasting protection.

The Shine-bond rebonding service gives you ultra straight, shiny hair that includes the unique treatment developed specifically for straightened hair: X-tenso Moisturist Masque.

The Shine-straight straightening service is a quicker service that gives you a naturally straight look.

I went for Shine-bond rebonding service and it took the hairstylist approximately 7 hours to finish the whole process. It was expensive and time consuming but totally worth it.

Before

After

With my new look, with my healthy, smooth and shiny hair, I now feel like a celebrity, a shampoo endorser. Don't you think so? Smiley
