Happy Birthday, Ate Cha

It was exactly eight years ago when I gave birth to my eldest daughter, Aldianne Champagne. At 5.1 pounds she was so fragile then that I was so afraid to hold her. Now, you can barely see that fragility as she has grown so much in the passing years. I can't believe the baby I hold in my hands years ago is no longer a baby and soon will be a lady. Oh how time flies. I hope it will not be too soon that I'm going to give her to the man of her dreams. Oh how I hate to think of that. How I wish she will forever be my baby. Well, so much of that. I'm just glad she has grown to be a smart and independent girl. Although I can feel she's sometimes jealous with her siblings, I know she is a very responsible eldest sister to them. She may be a cry-baby but deep inside I know she is strong enough to stand for her siblings.

I can still remember she celebrated her birthday in bed last year suffering from a high fever. Thanks God, she is in perfect health today. The little celebration we had earlier, made her happy although she was a little bit disappointed with her Lola Nanay (my mother) who promised to come here all the way from Cebu but wasn't able to. Still, she is contented especially with her friends around.

Happy Birthday my Love! You will always be my baby and always remember you are the first. I love you! *muah*
