The Biggest Loser

The Biggest Loser , a reality show that broadcasts in many countries is now in Asia. In this show, overweight contestants are challenged to shed pounds through diet and exercise as they vie for the cash prize. Whoever sheds the most pounds wins 5 million pesos. Contestants’ self-discipline is also tested as they are tempted with their biggest weakness, food. They are then weighed and eliminated until the final contestant bags the title “The Biggest Loser” and therefore the winner.



Over 500 overweight Filipinos auditioned for the said show. Each one willing to lose pounds and win cash at the same time. I was even tempted to ask my hubby to audition for the said show. By joining, he'd be able to lose those excess weight which he had gained after we got married. Unfortunately, I didn’t hear about the audition until it was too late. Also, I don’t know if my hubby would be interested to join the contest. I don’t know if his ego will allow him to. Anyway, I’ll just let him watch the show as it teaches many practical ways to lose weight. The show itself is an inspiration.
